After a compact overview of modern tracking technologies and their fields of application, it goes straight into practice. On show are the Xsens Link Suit, a wireless full-body tracking system that captures movements precisely in real time, and the MANUS Metagloves combined with a robotic hand. A live demonstration shows how the finest finger movements are transmitted directly – teleoperation up close.
In the concluding hands-on part you can put on the Xsens Awinda yourself and experience motion capture on your own body, and try out teleoperation directly with the MANUS Metagloves.
